Business Development Manager with 4 years' experience in B2B sales development is needed for our client based in London, who is looking some someone to significantly scale their enterprise sales pipeline focused on EMEA-based enterprises with revenues over $500M. They are a cloud-based business network connecting companies of all sizes and providing them with the platform, network and tools needed to develop apps, communicate in real-time and create value from old processes like invoicing, payments and workflow.
You will manage a team of sales development representatives who act as ambassadors for the company and being the first impression to prospective clients. This growing team is focused on exponentially scaling the enterprise sales pipeline to enable the field sales force to execute on the revenue growth plan for the company. The extended business development team includes demand generation strategy, tight collaboration with marketing, and a group of team members that focuses on building pipeline through channel partners.
Managing, coaching and fostering career growth for a team of inside sales development representatives
Monitoring metrics for conversion of marketing qualified accounts through the nurturing and qualification process, to sales accepted opportunities
Leveraging new technologies to optimise the sales development process
Defining and implementing optimal mixes of content, email, and voice interaction by target segment
Recruiting and hiring additional team members
Partnering with enterprise account executives to define territory plans, and demand generation plans
Partnering with the alliance and channel team to leverage external influence for accelerating pipeline
Coordinating outsourced complementary services such as appointment setting and profiling services
Minimum 4 years' experience in B2B sales pipeline development
Demonstrated ability to be business and value oriented in client discussions
Inventive, solution-oriented and highly personable in your communication style
Experience with one or more of the following enterprise technologies is preferred: CRM such as Salesforce.com, marketing automation such as Marketo, sales development platforms such as SalesLoft
Experience with B2B procurement business processes

Salary: £48k basic, plus £40k variable (OTE £80k - £88k)
