My client is a leading tour agent offering a whole range of travel products and services to their customers with a very personal service ensuring to go the extra mile making them one of the most prestigious and upcoming independent agents within the UK. The company offers an outstanding level of customer service everyday gaining them much repeat custom and new, due to the company's success they are now expanding and searching for a customer relations executive to join the team!

You will be working in a fast paced and forward thinking environment alongside a great supportive and hard working team based within the Thurrock area. Working appealing and sociable office hours Monday - Friday 9 - 5:30pm with a whole range of benefits on offer in addition to the current competitive salary this is an opportunity you will not want to miss.

You will be reporting to your friendly customer relations manager and the role entails many different duties ensuring no two days are ever the same. Duties of the role include the following;

  • Providing a high level of customer service by telephone, e-mail and written communication
  • Ability to investigate and resolve all complaints in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with the industries guidelines
  • Ensure all communication is accurate and all points raised by the customer are addressed
  • Ensure all customer correspondence is logged correctly and efficiently onto the in house booking system
  • Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency depending on the volume of incoming enquiries and prioritise accordingly
  • Demonstrate a fair and empathic manner to handle all queries effectively
  • Reporting on figures to management
  • Filing and general administrative duties

  • Previous experience within letter writing (if you have carried this out whilst working in the travel industry previously, this will be beneficial to your application)
