My client a privately owned group of companies is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to work within the HR team, which provides a centralised function for a highly successful multi-site operation running contracts for companies throughout the UK. You will be CIPD qualified or a studier and required to support the business and HR function, processes and procedures, liaising within the HR team, the head office and also the management and sites across the country. It is essential that your work is accurate and timely and you work in line with industry standards and legislative requirements. To provide HR and particularly ER support to the HR team and employees, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner and contribute to the long-term development of the HR function in particular during a period of development and growth . This role is within a medium sized HR Function, high tempo high volume environment, which will offer the opportunity for the right person to progress their career. You will gain extensive experience within a fast paced commercial environment. Your tasks will be many and varied, whilst interesting and challenging. You will handle HR questions, queries and be required to provide answers to the employees within the business. This is a medium sized business which operates within a contract environment with a high number of employees across many sites. Skills & Abilities An effective communicator with good telephone and interpersonal communication skills at all levels. Able to plan and prioritise workload to ensure objectives are achieved on time. Able to identify problems and make decisions, taking appropriate action to resolve. Able to attain an accurate and consistent standard of service with a high level of competence in all areas Able to work on own initiative and positively as a team member. Computer literate with the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office package and databases.
