Reporting to: UK Financial Controller


The candidate will be responsible for the following:

Core responsibilities:

* Production of various quarterly reports for designated subsidiaries including:

* VAT returns
* Development cost reports
* Management accounts
* Comprehensive variance analysis

* Assisting the UK Financial Controller with quarterly forecasting of rental income and administrative overheads
* Preparation of monthly reporting for the Group's business centres, including day to day interaction with business centre staff
* Review and authorisation of purchase invoices for correct posting and validity for designated companies
* Production year-end audit files for designated subsidiaries and liaising with Company auditors as required
* Preparation of the annual statutory accounts for designated subsidiaries in accordance with FRS101
* Liaising with the Group tax department on tax matters specific to the designated subsidiaries

Other responsibilities:

* Day to day interaction with property and asset managers to ensure that all finance matters are captured for the properties within the designated subsidiaries
* Assist with ad hoc projects and transactions to ensure the UK finance team delivers for the business and provides added value

Essential candidate credentials

* On the pathway to ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualifications (or equivalent)
* Ability to get things done, accurately, on time, first time
* High attention to detail
* Good team player and with the ability to build relationships across the Group
* Proactive with ability to act on own initiative
* Good working knowledge of Excel

* Real estate experience

* Qube Property Management software
* Alpha Tax software
* Sage accounting software
