My client is a global financial services provider and market leader and they are currently offering a fantastic opportunity for a high caliber candidate to join their Global Markets Operations function at an AVP level within a CASS oversight role.

Global Markets Operations is the engine responsible for ensuring the execution and servicing of all products and services. Their core objective is to deliver service excellence by executing our processes in the safest and most efficient way, leveraging automation and 'Lean' approaches to achieve this. Some of the core processes delivered include Post Trade Services, FX Operations, Collateral & Liquidity operations.

The role sits within the Custody, Control & Regulation team. The team is responsible for the CASS oversight of Operational activity within Global Market Operations to ensure the firm meets its client and regulatory obligations to protect assets belonging to clients of the Investment Bank. The role will include the oversight and first level review and approval of the Global Market Operations daily Client Money and Stock Shortfall calculations, as well as operating daily preventative and detective controls to eliminate CASS risk. There will be an expectation that you will identify and reduce exceptions and continuously review controls to ensure any CASS risk is managed accordingly so no breaches of regulation occur.

The team is wide reach, working with Market Operations teams around the globe as well as individual business areas, central risk teams and compliance functions.
