A great opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Officer for a national charity in order to support the Marketing Manager to raise the profile of the charity and its programmes by delivering effective marketing plans that drive sign ups. This will be a permanent role based in London. The Marketing Officer will also support with the production of stand out marketing collateral that adheres to brand guidelines for a range of events, programmes and campaigns.Key Responsibilities will include:Negotiate and purchase advertising within budget restrictionsOversee and deliver the production and distribution of marketing materials such as leaflets, posters, branded stationery to time and budgetWrite, edit and proofread effective copy for marketing materials, across all channelsLiaise with and manage designers, creative agencies, illustrators, writers, printers, translators, copyright holders and other suppliers to create innovative and engaging marketing materials and set up image/illustration commissions and license agreements, where appropriate, ensuring adherence to copyright lawCreate, deliver and monitor the charity s direct mail campaigns (print and email)Gather analytics and report on charity s direct mail campaigns (print and email), sharing findings with Marketing Manager and teamsResponsible for the production of all monthly newslettersReport on project progress and targets for project dashboards to Marketing Manager, the management team and project teamsWork closely with Digital, Communications and Programme teams to develop excellent working relationshipsCultivate positive relationships with new and existing suppliers and partnersProvide occasional support to the Marketing Product Coordinator to design resources for programmesResponsible for the monitoring of the brand email inboxAssist the Marketing Manager with the delivery of the brand strategyIn order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:Significant and demonstrable experience of marketingExperience of creating email campaignsProven experience of delivering multi channel marketing plansDemonstrable experience of building positive, fruitful partnershipsDemonstrable experience of working on direct marketing campaigns that have reached/exceeded targetExperience of analysing results and testing to choose the optimum marketing mixProven excellent copywriting, copyediting and proofreadingExcellent digital skills: use of Content Management Systems, MS Office, Photoshop, e-marketing programs and social media channelsDesign and print production managementCampaign analysis, feeding into campaign/project reports e.g. e-marketingReporting on schedules, targets and campaign/project progress
