Credit Controller / Purchase Ledger Assistant Stevenage SG1 2BB £24k pension onsite parking Full Time (flexible working will be considered) We're looking for a Credit Controller and Purchase Ledger Assistant to fit seamlessly into our small Finance team based in Stevenage. Our client is at the forefront of cinema screen technology and needs someone to ensure the financial cogs are kept turning. Credit Controller / Purchase Ledger Assistant Role Your job will be to handle the collection of finances and the resolution of account queries, raising sales invoices, issuing credit notes and managing debt recovery. You will also administer the purchase ledger and ensure that outward payments are made in accordance with appropriate timescales and within relevant payment terms. So, who are we looking for? Previous experience in a similar role will be ideal. You must be highly numerate and possess an excellent understanding of Microsoft packages and Sage. You need to be able to work under pressure and meet annual and monthly deadlines. Strong communication skills and a good telephone manner are also a must.
