Under this partnership, Serco provides a range of front and back office as well support services such as facilities management, customer contact centres and occupational health. We are currently recruiting a part-time Cleaner (15hrs per week) to work at Hertfordshire County Council offices in Hemel Hempstead. The core hours for the 15hr. In this role you will undertake a range of pre-planned and reactive cleaning and housekeeping tasks together with setting up the training rooms. You will also be responsible for ensuring the building is secure at the end of the shift, and so will have responsibility of the keys and security codes. Due to the nature of the room you may be required to travel to other HCC sites, as such a driver's license and access to a vehicle is preferred (but not essential). Key Responsibilities:Ensure that the basic, normal prestige and hygiene levels of housekeeping and cleaning are met and exceeded at all times; Complete the housekeeping and cleaning work as per schedules; Carry out cleaning procedures that incorporate all quality standards laid down by the client; Ensure all waste management including the emptying, disposal and replacement of domestic waste containers meets all requirements; Report on the facilities general condition and repair in terms of maintenance reporting and hazard spotting; Ensure that all cleaning chemicals are stored safely and securely at all times; Building security including locking up and setting burglar alarms etc. Experience, Qualifications, SkillsPrevious housekeeping and or cleaning experience is essential Full UK Drivers License with access to a vehicle (desirable) Health and Safety and COSHH awareness (desirable) Ability to work on your own with minimum supervision If you feel you meet the criteria for the role please apply and upload a copy of your CV.
