Contract Type
We are looking for an experienced and committed individual to join us as Executive Assistant, providing comprehensive support to the Executive Director of Brand Marketing and the Director of Creative Content.

Working in more than 120 countries, we do whatever it takes to create breakthroughs in the way the world treats children. Our Marketing and Fundraising divisions exist to inspire millions of people - from individuals to large corporate organisations - to support our quest for change. Together, we save children's lives, fight for their rights and help them fulfil their potential.

As Executive Assistant you will play a critical role in conveying key messages across the division and acting on behalf of the Executive Director. You will be the first point of contact for the Brand Marketing Division and all queries relating to the Executive Director and you will use your judgement and knowledge to answer queries without asking the Director. In addition you will:

Undertake general research for the Director and the production of PowerPoint presentations, reports and documents
Develop a peer network of EAs and PAs to other internal Directors and key external contacts to ensure clear lines of communication
Provide a comprehensive support service, including proactive management of the diary and the prioritising and drafting of email and correspondence
Oversee the Director's worldwide travel including producing complex itineraries and packs
Proactively follow up with peers, both local and international, ensuring actions are completed and key information is recorded.

To be successful you will have significant PA/EA experience in a corporate head office environment or an INGO. With excellent organisation and administration skills, you will have the ability to plan and prioritise work for your self and others. Excellent time management skills are essential as well as:

Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to write and adapt style to different voices and audiences
Good analytical skills with the ability to identify key points from complex material or information
A high level of computer literacy including confidence with Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
The ability to think quickly on your feet in an ever changing environment whilst remaining professional and calm
Discretion and confidentiality.

At Save the Children we are committed to the safeguarding and protection of children in our work. We will do everything possible to ensure that only those who are suitable to work with children are recruited to work for us. This post is subject to a range of vetting checks including a criminal records disclosure.

Our mission is to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives. If you share our mission, are passionate about making it happen and strongly believe you can contribute then join us and we'll give you every opportunity to succeed. We look forward to hearing from you.
