Our client is an International Banking is looking to hire a Senior Manager Retail Sales to join their team;

MAIN OBJECTIVES:

The job holder is responsible for the development and driving day-to-day UK retail businesses. Lead and manage the sales team, be responsible for achieving ambitious growth plans, and engage with the senior management team to develop and implement sales strategies. P&L responsibility for the UK retail businesses.

Collaborate with various departments to develop Bank both within the UK and at Group level, inspire the staff and lead the company forward to ensure that it is fully compliant with the industry regulation.

MAIN DUTIES

Sales

* Grow existing and develop new retail market segments to be reviewed by BBDC.
* Engage closely with Group Marketing to propose the development of new marketing propositions.
* Maintain awareness of market trends in the FX / Remittance industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitor what local competitors are doing.
* Develop Customer Value Proposition, suggest new products & services be approved by BBDC.
* Set targets, track growth and develop retail sales, by ensuring that the Branches achieve and sales targets are tracked on a daily basis.
* Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to optimise profits and ensure all branches operating in the most efficient manner.
* Achieve target levels through effective management of all retail staff.
* Regularly report achievements versus budget forecasts to the senior management team.
* Manage the Market Excellence/Intelligence process; gathering market and customer information and provide feedback on future trends, to support campaigns.
* Ensure quality control of all sales output pertaining to customer acquisition and service delivery in full compliance with all TCF related regulations.
* Resolve customer complaints pertaining to the branch network service in coordination with compliance.
* Maintain and manage customer complaint log and propose a strategy to optimize responses to all customer complaints.
* Working closely with the operation, liaise with the marketing department for the branding of new offices and ensure a consistent look and feel.
* In line with strategic objectives, optimise branch coverage and where required develop with operations full business case for new branches/relocation of existing ones.
* Take ownership in defining the branch service standards expected in all the branches and as to be delivered by all staff.
* Together with operations, identify and address audit failings to align the same with Company's vision and mission.
* Perform any other task as directed by the Line Manager and/or CEO.

UK Retail Staff Development

* In cooperation with operations, manage branch staffing requirements of all Bank branches to ensure ease of operations at each location.
* Recruit, inspire, develop, manage and motivate a growing team of sales professionals, who will deliver high standards of sales services across all identified markets and service lines.
* Propose incentive guidelines and sales planning objective rules to be approved by NORICO.
* In close collaboration with operations, ensure staff are well aware and trained with regards to safety and security measures so that the Company's assets and staff are secured.
* Identify and support any underperforming staff and work closely with them to deliver performance improvement plans (PIPs) by providing required additional assistance and training.
* Together with HR, ensure that all staff undergoes all induction and ongoing training as mandated by regulation and/or best practices.
* Under the responsibility of compliance, ensure that all staff understand and fully implement all relevant KYC, AML and all other compliance and FCR regulations and best practices.

Operations

* Work with retail operations to define business needs and user requirements for all systems and applications.
* Support the other business units in coordinating the implementation of new products, services, and promotions.
* Together with operations, ensure all branches are operating strictly to the compliance and control policies and standards of the company and achieve a minimum of satisfactory internal audit ratings across all branches and satisfactory external audit ratings for Retail Operations as a whole.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

* A Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Strong writing and verbal skills
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office
* High attention to detail
* Strict work ethics
* Excellent research, problem-solving and negotiation skills

EXPERIENCE

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in operations and in delivering sales in line with budgets preferably in foreign exchange industry, of which 3 years should have been in a senior an operational or sales role.
* Proven sales track record in the financial service sector and strong organizational, time management, negotiation and communication skills are required.
* Hands-on management style and proven experience of managing and motivating a sales team.
* Sales and operations oriented mentality, with a strong drive to succeed, a strong work ethic, high energy levels and ability to set & achieve incrementally increasing goals and targets
