Technical Administrator (Part Time) - Central London- Up to GBP13ph

Part Time Technical administrator required to join a large civil engineering and structual firm based in their main office in Central London, supporting the project team and business development manager.

You will work on a part time basis of approx 24 hours a week with flexible hours - this can be 3 days a week or the hours spread across 5. There might be the opportunity to work overtime during the busy periods.

Rate is GBP9 to 10ph PAYE or GBP11-13ph LTD / Umbrella

You will be based in an office in Central London with short walking distance to the closest tube station

As a technical administrator you will provide document control and administration support to the project team and will be liaising with the client, project team and sub contractors. You main responsibility will be to provide administrative support to the team with HR, finance and admin functions.

You will be required to:

  • Process timesheets
  • Holiday process and updating board
  • Setting up tenders and live jobs
  • Process purchase orders and payment certificate
  • Order stationery and equipment
  • Order PPE and track it coming in and out
  • ad hoc administration

Successful candidates must have:

  • Strong Excel Knowledge and ability to do Pivot Tables, V Look Ups, Tables, Graphs
  • Ideally used the COINS system or similar
  • Previous experience in the rail, civil engineering sectors
