The opportunity

Background: To provide full Document control.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Management and control of drawing and specification issues between professional/design team members and mace plus + sub contractor drawings

Issue of drawings to contractors

Co-ordination of drawing issues within Mace team.

Co-ordination & control of the Request For Information process.

Input and management of snagging system and reports.

Raising of Instructions on behalf of Project & Commercial Managers

Responsible for co-ordinating the team, including those who appear to be self-sufficient

Handling telephone calls/messages in a timely and professional manner

Typing letters, faxes, reports etc

Dealing with routine correspondence

% Time Spent in Each Discipline:

Administration/Organisation 25%

Document control 75%

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Good keyboard skills / computer literacy essential
  • Good organisation skills
  • Must have accurate typing - 50+ wpm
  • Microsoft Word - advanced level
  • Excel - intermediate level
  • Knowledge of e-mail and Internet
  • Good use of Power Point an advantage
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience of simple internet publishing helpful
  • Knowledge of Conject essential
