Carnegie Clean Energy Limited (CCE) is an Australian publically listed company (ASX:CCE) focused on developing and commercialising its CETO wave energy technology. Carnegie is regarded as an industry leader on the back of over 10 years of technology development and the successful commissioning and 12 months’ operation of the Perth Wave Energy Project at Garden Island, Western Australia. The Company recently announced that its UK subsidiary, CWE UK, had been granted £9,551,962 from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to design, construct, install and operate a grid-connected CETO 6 wave energy converter device at the purpose built, Wave Hub test site in the UK. The £14.7m project will be delivered by CWE UK Limited.

CWE UK has a requirement for a full-time Business & Funding Coordinator with at least 5 years’ experience. A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, or equivalent will be well regarded. This role will be based at CWE UK’s offices located in Hayle Marine Renewable Business Park, working closely with the CCE Australia team and reporting to the CETO Wave Hub Project Manager.
The position will be responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with the Project’s ERDF obligations including managing grant claims and ongoing communications with the UK Government’s Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG). In addition this position will be responsible for establishing, organising and running a range of administrative functions in support of CWE UK, including finance, IT and marketing & communications. The role will be supported by the team in the UK and by Carnegie Clean Energy in Australia.
The successful Candidate will possess previous experience in administering large European grant funded projects and/or in office and business processes management. Direct experience with ERDF funded projects will be well regarded. This position requires a candidate with advanced working knowledge of MS products, the ability to collate financial information and produce financial information to meet reporting requirements and good written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, the confidence and ability to work autonomously as well as within a team and a professional, enthusiastic, flexible and positive approach with the ability to prioritise workload to meet strict deadlines.
